Mangalore, October 8: A video editor was allegedly attacked and assaulted for conversing with a girl from another community at Kunil complex in Kankanady here on Tuesday, October 7th.
It is alleged that the victim Ragavendra Achar (38), was threatened and warned after a girl belonging to another community came to his workplace to write a CD.
It is learnt that a crew of men entered into the complex where he works as a video editor and vandalized the place, destroying the computers and looting Rs 50,000 from the shop.
It is alleged that the male strangers also threatened his life and warned for talking to girls from other community. The deceased has been admitted to government hospital.
Bunder Cops have visited the spot and investigating on the issue. Case is yet to be filed.
