Mangalore, October 8: A person has been stabbed to death at Shakthinagar late last night.The deceased has been identified as Abdul Hamid (47), a resident of Bundar Ansari road in Mangalore.
The stab injuries are found on his belly, and neck. His colon has peeped out of the body. The body was found near Vaidhyanatha temple cose to Jokulsana in Shakthinagar.
It is learnt that, a local resident who was on his way back home had seen some blood stains near temple. He immediately accompanied with other locals and moved tracking the blood stains towards Jokul sana where the brutally murdered body was traced.
It is gathered that the murder took place at around 11pm, late in the night. The body has been kept at Wenlock mortuary.
Abdul Hamid was not seen there before. His death there has left behind many queries such as why he had been there at night? Why was he murdered? and who were there behind this act?

The spot of murder is a deserted place and the road ends there.
The police sources have ascertained that, it was the paradise of ganja addicts. In the past, murder and looting cases have taken place in this area. But this case has yet to be ascertained that whether it was a ganja related case or looting case.
Kankanady police have registered the case and investigations are on.
