Udupi, October 2: A Love Letter was handed over to a minor school girl by two north Indian guys, where one was charged by the public and the other was handed over to the police on Wednesday.
This incident had taken place close to Katapadi Agrahara – Manipur road. The duo carpenters Sajab (24) and Soheb (21) have been said to be involved in the crime committed.
The youths who are said to be the neighbours of the student who was studying in a private institution, handed over a letter to her as soon as she boarded a tempo for her school and got seated. It was observed by the driver of the tempo who informed the same to the public, who began to question the duo youths. The publics have charged one youth while the other escaped from the venue.
The Kaup cops who arrived at the spot and arrested the youth who was charged by the publics.
Based on the plaint filed by the girl’s mom, the cops have arrested the duo youths, and filed a case under the POCSO act.
