Mangalore, September 18: A program was organised at the dakshina kannada Zilla Panchayat auditorium regarding the information on the earthworm manure on Thursday.
The programme was inaugurated by the Zilla Panchayat chief executive officer Tulasi Maddeneni. She addressed the audience and said it is profitable if the vegetables are grown using the earthworm compost. Moreover, it is good for the health. The farmers must gather more information on the procedure of producing the manure and adpot it in agriculture.
Dr Harish Joshi, Satish Kumpala and other zilla panchayat officials were present.
To gather information on this, self-employment trainers and Agricultural Science college students were present.
