Bollywood heartthrob Varun Dhawan who was last seen on big screens in ‘Badlapur’, happens to be all busy these days promoting his upcoming release ‘ABCD 2’ and preparing for his character in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’.
The latest news related to the dashing actor is, there are possibilities that Varun might team up with his ‘Dilwale’ co-star, the pretty actress Kriti Sanon for second time in writer Chetan Bhagat’s ‘Half Girlfriend’s Bollywood adaptation.
The Bollywood adaptation of ‘Half Girlfriend’ will be directed by Mohit Suri and will be produced by Ekta Kapoor, Mohit Suri and Chetan Bhagat.
According to latest reports, Ekta has bought all the rights of the book from Chetan and is keen to cast Varun as the lead in its film adaptation.
At the same time Ekta is keen on roping in Kriti as the film’s leading lady.
Though nothing has been confirmed yet, as an official announcement related to the same is yet to be announced by the makers.
The film is slated to go on floors early next year.
