Retired Professor of Vijaya College Prof. Balachandra Gowda received Guru Vandana by the old students and honoured by the guests on dais. Speaking about the old students of the college he said during that time along with education we have made our students also to grow. To obtain success in the life we have to maintain equality between happiness and sadness. Referring to the old students who are prominent personalities on dais he said I now became rich because of having such rich students.

Bunts spoke and requested all to make this Golden Jubilee a Grand success. Bharat Bank CEO C R Mulky along with K N Suvarna, Director handed over a cheque of Rs. 5 lack as donation to the College golden jubilee fund.
Addressing the gathering CA Shankar B. Shetty Hon. President of Vijaya College Mulki Allumni Association Mumbai said today we bought our teacher from our college and honoured them, they blessed us. Referring to the teachers he said you have made us and even you have shaped us, whatever we are today is because of you and you are next to God for us. We supported small to the college but we got big from the college. He requested all the old students of the college to give their information and support the college.
Treasurer Harish Hejmady copared the programme. Secretary Vasudeva M Salian offered vote of thanks. Vice President CA Somnath Kunder, S. Nithyanand Hegde, Adv. Shekhar Bhandary, Ratnakar Saliyan, CA Kishore Kumar Suvarna, Mohandas and Kishore Kmar Kuthyar introduced the guests.
