DHARMAPURI, November 5: Three students from Bangalore were washed away in the Cauvery at Hogenakkal in Dharmapuri district on Monday.
Police sources said that the three were among eight students who came in a car from Bangalore. When the students ventured into the river at Alambadi, G. Srinivasan (20) was washed away. Thej Kumar Reddy (20) and Gnanesh (20) were washed away when they tried to save Srinivasan.
