KSRTC reduces contract carriage charges

ksrtc-putturBANGALORE: KSRTC seems to be in a saving its clientele mode. The corporation has announced a reduction of Rs 2 per km in the contract carriage charges on Monday. Educational tours, pilgrimage visits in southern states and political rallies were the reasons why people hired KSRTC most of the time.

But in some of the services, the reduction is made by Rs 9 per km too. For Karnataka Sarige, Sarige (12mt chasis) and Rajahamsa Executive classes will cost you Rs2 per km less, Rajahamsa 12 mt chasis will cost Rs 6 per km less, Volvo semi sleeper costs Rs 8 per km less, Volvo Mysore city bus services will cost Rs 7 per km and Vaibhava services will cost Rs 4 per km less.

The hiring charges of Airavat Superia and Bliss services will remain Rs 111, unchanged.
