Bangalore, May 15: Two huge branches of a tree fell on a BMTC bus while plying in front of the CET Cell, at Malleswaram 18th Cross on Wednesday. No one was injured in the accident as there were not any passengers in the bus.
The bus was plying between Majestic and Papareddy Palya, when the driver saw a huge branch of a tree falling.
He veered the bus in reverse, just when another branch of the tree collapsed on the vehicle from behind.
The front and the rear portions of the bus have been damaged.
The Malleswaram traffic police and fire servicemen rushed to the spot and pruned the tree and cleared the traffic in an hour’s time.
