Mangalore, September 10: The Yenepoya University Deralakatte has felicitated Soumya S. with the doctoral degree for presenting a thesis on “A Study on Isolation, Characterization and prospecting of bacteria for uranium remediation “ .
Soumya.S had prepared her research thesis under the guidance of Dr Arun A.B-Deputy Director of the Yenepoya Research Centre.
She is the daughter of MCF-Marketing Officer Sridhar. S. Nayka and Malini .S.Nayka-Head mistress of the higher primary school Golikatte; resident of Pragathi Nagar in Sirsi.
