Mangalore, August28: The students of Shree Devi College of Hotel Management had organized the annual food fest ‘Zaika 2014’ on August 27th.
The food fest was inaugurated by Mr. Nidesh S. Shetty, the Vice-Chairman of Shree Devi Education Trust, Mrs. Maina S. Shetty, the General Secretary of Shree Devi Educational Trust along with Prof. Samuel Jathanna, the Principal Shree Devi College of Hotel Management & Mr. Karthik Shetty, the Students representative.
The students prepared Food of various Cuisines like
Indian Cuisine – Hydrabadi Dum Biryani (Chicken), Veg. Dum Biryani, Paratha with Veg. Kolhapuri, Paratha with Malabari Chicken curry.
Chinese cuisine (Live counter)– Hakka Noodles (Veg/Chicken), Fried Rice ( Veg/Chicken), Chicken Lolypop, Spring rolls, Cauliflower Manchurian, Chicken Chilly.
Kebabs (Live Counter)– Afghani Kebab, Thangadi kebab, Chicken harlyali Kebab, Paneer & Vegetable Tandoor.
Italian cuisine –Burgers (Veg/Chicken), Pizza(veg/chicken), Sandwiches.
Snacks counter – Pav Bhaji, Vada Pav, Pani puri
The students also prepared various types of Mocktails (Live counter) – Ashiqui, Cool Kick, Summer Dream, Bloody Fizz & Also soft drinks and water were served.
In organizing the event, 120 students from Shree Devi College of Hotel Management were engaged.
There was a light music played and more than a thousand gathered in the fest.
