Mangalore, August 19: Suratkal based sister’s Neha Shetty(11) and Nethra Shetty(10) current residents of California, America; have won 4 medals at the American Badminton Games which took place at Guatemala city in America from 23rd to 27th of July 2014.
Under the below 13 years girls singles, Neha Shetty has won the bronze medal. Under the below 11 years girls singles, Nethra Shetty has won the Gold medal; in mixed doubles gold medal and silver medal in girls doubles. In this competition, 17 participants were there from other countries namely Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Jamaica etc. Neha and Nethra are the daughters of Dr Anupama and Harish Shetty and the grand daughters of Asha and Dr T Ramanath Shetty, Suratkal and Mrs and Mr Dr K Shadhashiva Naik.
