Mangalore, August 14, 2014: Very few people had the chance to see both the super stars of Hollywood and Bollywood at Bajpe Airport on Wednesday.
On Wednesday morning, August 13th first, the ‘Thalaiva’ super star Rajanikanth came down to the city due to which The Mangalore International Airport(MIA) was over crowded. To shoot the Tamil movie titled ‘Lingam’, Superstar along with Rockline Venkatesh, producer, director and actor of Sandalwood visited the city by a jet plane from Bangalore. They left for the shooting of the movie which would take place at Sagar and Jog Falls.
People gathered in large numbers as soon as Rajnikanth descended from the plane, just to capture his picture. It appeared as though a festive was being conducted in MIA.
As humble as ever, Rajnikanth agreed to take ‘selfie’ with few lucky fans. Dressed in an simple White attire Rajnikanth greeted everybody with a smile.
He addressed the media in Kannada and said that he was on the way to Shimoga to shoot the Tamil movie ‘Lingam’, which would continue for 21 days around the areas of Sagar and Thirtha Halli which may be released in December this year.
Hinting a possible plunge into politics in future, he stated that it was god’s wish that he becomes the chief minister of Tamil Nadu. He recalled an instance when there had been traffic jam when he was crossing the road and CM Jayalalitha too got stuck in the traffic. The police personnel had to request him to get into car in order to clear the jam. The crowd kept on increasing and the security in MIA had a tough time to deal with.
He said that his health was fine and was glad to arrive at Mangalore after a gap of over 22years. Rajani Fans, surely might be exclaiming ‘We didn’t miss the chance’ and counting their lucky stars.
Later, the heroin of Dabang, Rawdi Rathode, R Raj Kumar and other super hit movie’s Sonakshi Sinha payed a shocking visit at the Mangalore airport. It is learnt that she is at the city for the shooting of her new movie.
Her fans crowded around her when she arrived at Bajpe airport on Wednesday afternoon. Later she moved to the hotel where she was supposed to stay under police protection. Sonakshi, the daughter of well known actor Shatrugna Sinha is visiting Mangalore for the first time.
