Moodbidri, Aug 07: “Joining Indian army is a good opportunity to serve the country. Soldiers get good remuneration and fecilities from the Govt. So youths should use this opportunity fruitfully,” said A.B. Ibrahim, Deputy Commissioner, Dakshina Kannada District, on Wednesday, August 06.
He was speaking to media persons during his visit to the army recruitment rally which was organized by Mangalore Army Authority in association with Alva’s Education Trust at Vidyagiri in Moodbidri and observed the proceedings.
He gathered the information from the officials about the different phases of the recruitment rally and interacted with the candidates.
Dr. Mohan Alva, Chairman, Alva’s Education Trust, Vivek Alva, Trustee, Nodal officer of the rally, ManikyaRaj, Tahsildar, Mahammad Isac, Tahsildar, Moodbidri, Govind Madival, Block Education Officer, Somshekhar Mayya, Revenue officer and others were present.
