Mangalore, July 22: Accusing the meeting between Baba Ramdev aide Ved Pratap Vaidik and Jama’t ud Da’wah chief and wanted terrorist Hafiz Saeed in Pakistan, the youth wing of Congress, Mangalore North (Surathkal), staged a protest on Tuesday July 22.
Addressing the protesters, the leaders said, “The meeting between Ved Pratap Vaidik and Hafiz Saeed is a shock to the nation. What was Vaidik doing for 15 days there? The Central Govt, even after knowing this, has not taken any action. The Congress strongly condemns this.”
The protesters demanded action against Vaidik said that the government should immediately give orders to file FIR against him.”
Kodijal Ibrahim, Mithun rai, Praveen Chandra Alwa, Ramanand Bolar and others were present on the occasion.
