Byndoor: A huge protest was staged by citizens, owners and drivers of auto rickshaw-tempo and students of Uppanda on Saturday July 19, demanding a speedy probe into the mysterious death case of Ratna kottari, which is moving in a slow phase.
Protesters numbering upto 3000 structured a protest rally from Uppanda to Byndoor, they submitted a memorandum to District Administration and State Govt. through a Special Tahashildar. Later the protesters gathered at Car street circle and criticised the state Govt. for not taking immediate action.
On this occasion women’s committee of Byndoor church and fisherwomen joined the protest and demanded for justice.
The protest was piloted by Sudakar Shetty, Rajendra, Jayaram Shetty, Krishna Kharvi, Vishwanath Gantiholle and others.
