Mangalore, Jul 17: ‘Monty’s Cocktails’, a blog newly added on the Welcometoreason.com website, which is now marking its sixth anniversary, was launched on Thursday, 17 July.
Addressing a press meet here, John B Monteiro, noted author and journalist who is also the website’s promoter and editor said,“The blog will give readers access to archives written by me.”
To mark the sixth anniversary of the website, a new masthead of the website’s homepage was unveiled by Titus Noronha of Rahul Advertisers.
Speaking on the occasion, Titus Noronha said, “John Monteiro started a website at the age of 70 when people would have been happy to curl up in a state of inactivity. He has not only sustained this no-income, no-profit website for six years but has now added a new blog offering the whole bunch of his writings, including his new book on corruption published in the USA last year.”
Explaining the new dimension of the website and the blog, John B Monteiro said, “The core of the blog would be my book, ‘Corruption – India’s Painful Crawl to Lokpal’, published in USA, priced at $21.50 and available for online ordering from Amazon and other websites.”
He also informed that the book is now available on the blog for reading as well as free download.
