Mangalore, July 11: Three persons were arrested by the Mangalore city police for stealing LED TVs worth Rs 5.5 lakh from a godown at Pandeshwar.
Imran Irfan (24), Mohammed Shameer (26) and Ummer Farooq (22) are the culprits, who arel from Bengre Kasaba area.
Sources said that, the trio had stolen seven 32 inch and 19 numbers of 28 inch LED TVs, CCTV cameras and other goods from the Videocon company godown on Nireshwalya Road in the first week of June 2014.
The police recovered 19 TVs from the accused and an Innova car used for the crime worth Rs 15.91 lakh. According to Police more persons are involved in the crime and investigations are on.
