Mangalore, July 10: Second suicide in a day was reported when a 60 year old man ended his life by jumping into the river from the Netravathi Bridge on July 9, Wednesday evening.
The deceased is yet to be identified. The man was dressed in white clothes and had all of a sudden jumped into the bridge.
People passing that way, rushed to his rescue and after a search for almost half an hour, the man was found dead and brought to the bank.
Traffic was disrupted on the route for some time. Police arrived at the spot and a case was registered.
