Mangalore,April 29:Addressing the media reporters in the press meet held on April 29,Monday at congress election office, Poojari-senior congress leader and former union minister said in his speech that Modi’s visit to city for BJP’s election campaign is big boon for congress party.
He further said that it is a known fact that how BJP ministers and BJP party’s credibility in the state and Modi was the man who involved indirectly in the Gujarat riots.
With regard to corruption in Modi’s government, poojary said that as per the report of CAG, Modi’s government had incurred a loss of Rs 580 crore and he got no moral right to point fingers at congress government as he and his ministers were already embroiled in so many corruptions. Nepotism charges. The major corporate benefactors under Modi’s governments were Reliance Industries, Essar Steel, Adani Power Limited and many more, he alleged.
Commenting on Modi’s statement that country is not safe under UPA government, former union minister said that Parliament was attacked when L.K.Advani was the home minister in NDA government at the centre and in another incident terrorists had entered the Red Fort and killed two soldiers and Aksharadhama was attacked when NDA was in power, he added.
Commenting on Modi’s Bangalore, he said before preaching others, a person should first be a role model for others and Modi is making a big publicity that BJP is clean and congress is corrupt.
Speaking on the recent congress public rally in the city addressed by Sonia Gandhi, Poojary said that rally was big success despite some minor hindrances here and there with the participation of almost all congress leaders and party workers from different parts of the district.
