Mangalore, Jun 11: The DCP, IGP, circle inspectors and sub-inspectors raided the jail premises early morning on Wednesday June 11. The officials questioned the prisoners and also inspected the premises.
The raid was conducted by DCP Vishnuvardhan, DCP Jagadish, IGP Ravi Kumar, ACP Tilakchandra and all the station circle inspectors and sub-inspectors.
Police source informed that the cops found many ganja packets, two mobile phones, a knife and three blades in the cells.
Inspection is still going on as each undertrial is being questioned individually by the police.
