Gangadhar Pangal was killed in a road accident as he was returning home on May 15. He was on his two wheeler vehicle when a Bolero hit him. The police filed an accident report, but the scene of the crash created doubts. Further investigations revealed it to be a planned murder. Police later arrested Harish Baikampady, Pusparaj and Baskar Baikampady but failed to arrest Satish Baikampady, who is said to be the main accused in the murder.

It is learnt that misunderstanding between Mogaveera Mahasabha and Urva Mariyamma temple committee administrative membership led to the murder of Gangadhar as Satish had shown special interest for the membership of Mariyamma temple committee.

A lot more developments are expected to come out.
