Kasargod, May 19: A Madrasa teacher was arrested by Vidyanagar police on Sunday May 18 for sexually harassing both male and female Madrasa students.
Abubakker Darimi (38) a resident of Puttur was arrested after the Childline bureau informed the police about the issue. He was working as a teacher in the Madrasa for the last 18 months. The Childline bureau alleged that Darimi was sexually abusing students, and police are said to have gathered certain information that he abused at least ten students.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
