Mangalore, May 15: A person, who is also a senior Congressman, was killed in a hit and run case at Baikampady on May 15, Thursday.
Gangadhar Pangala is the victim (deceased) in this accident. He was also a Mogaveera community leader and a social worker.
Sources said that when Gangadhar was returning home on his bike from Muloor at around 12.30 PM, a vehicle knocked him down killing him on the spot.
A case has been registered by Panambur Police.
