Bantwal, May 15: The renovated ‘Our Lady of Fatima Church’ at Peruvai, Muchirapadavu was inaugurated by Rev. Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangalore Diocese on May 13, Tuesday.
Blessing the church, the Bishop said there will be peace and harmony in the society when each and every individual prays to the Almighty with a true heart.
’Fathimacho Dongor’ a memento brought out to commemorate the occasion, was released by the Bishop. Fr Andrew D’Costa, Parish Priest of the Church, donors and all those who assisted in the renovation of the Church were honoured at the ceremony.
Fr Gerald D’Souza, Vicar of Puttur, Pravina Cutinha, Church Parish Council Secretary, Victor D‘Souza, Vice President and others were present on the occasion.
