Tempo Driver Shareef-Ud-Din’s horrifying death at Periapattana

Bantwala, May 14: Wednesday morning a Tempo-Traveler and Gas Tanker collided with each other, killing nine members of a family from Derlakatta, injuring eleven others in Kantalapur, Periapattana near Mysore on May 14. The driver of the tempo was a resident of Navuru (Maindala-Suragedde).

Shareefuddin (22) was the son of K. H. Kaseem and Raquiya. A family from Deralakatte had hired his tempo for their private trip. The accident occurred when they were returning from their trip.

Shareefuddin is also an all-rounder cricket player, he was a favorite player in his area. After the news of his death was known, his relatives and friends gathered at his place to give him a last respect.

K.H. Kaseem is a employee at Pilikula Nature park, Shareef is survived by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
