CIL hosts Jungle Survival Camp

Manglore : The annual Jungle Survival Camp organised by the Centre for Integrated Learning, a city based NGO working with children and youth, will be held from May 9 to 11. The three-day residential camp will provide an opportunity to city students and public to gain an experience of the life style of people living in remote villages within the dense forests. It thus broadens the perspectives of life of the participants, thus enabling them to groom themselves as effective individuals.

The camp will comprise of an array of activities including trekking, nature exploration, interaction with tribal community and forest dwellers, and camp fire among others. The camp will be held in villages on the back waters of Harangi Dam in Somwarpet Taluk of Coorg district. The batch strength for the camp is limited to 25 participants and will draw students, professionals and home makers.

CIL has been organizing such camps since the past five years in view of developing leadership qualities among students and youth.
