Mangalore, May 5: A four year old boy died in a collision between a scooty and jeep which occurred near Gurupur on May 4, Sunday. The rider, who is the uncle of the boy sustained serious injuries in the accident.
The mishap was reported near Ane in Gurupur when the two were travelling in the Scooty from Shirthady to Bondel after attending the engagement of a relative. The jeep that caused the accident was heading from Yedapadavu.
The deceased is Avniel Pais, son of Sunith Pais and Prescilla. The injured person is Ronald. He is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the city.
A vegetable loaded jeep collided with their two-wheeler resulting in serious injuries to the two. The boy died while being rushed to the hospital. It was learnt that the boy’s parents were proceeding in another two-wheeler when the accident took place.
