Bantwal, May 5: With the rape of a minor girl from Kolpe in Idkidu village near Vittal, one of the accused has fled to Dubai, whereas the other accused who had threatened the victim not to reveal the situation too is planning to make a move to Dubai.
It is learnt that one of the accused identified as Bakuta Basheer from Bobbekeri in Vittal Casba village, who had raped a girl studying in ninth standard on April 18, was earlier working in Dubai and after the incident he has again fled to Dubai.
Another accused identified as Jabbar from Karyady in Kula village, had reportedly threatened the girl of throwing acid at her face, if she fails to maintain the incident from her family or any one, is also making elaborate preparations to leave the country and move to Dubai, said girl’s relatives.
Whereas as another accused Radhukatte Basheer, who is facing charges of motor bike theft cases and other cases has not possess a passport as of now. The girl’s relatives have urged the police officials to seize the passport from Jabbar and stop him from moving to Dubai.
Raghavendra T R, house officer of Vittal station denied the information and said that the accused has not fled to Dubai but it was just a rumour and police have launched an operation search the culprits and arrest them.
