Mangalore, April 28: A royal ritual of Brahmakalashotsava and Ashtapavitra Nagabhahma Mandalotsava is going to be structured at Shri Nagabrahma Temple, Alake from May 01-05-2014 to 11-05-2014. Rituals, cultural events, stage programs etc will continuously take place in these 11 days.
B. Ravindranath Hegde, President of renovation committee, said that the Temple of Shree Nagabhrama as well as Demigod Temple of Kallurti Panjurli have been renovated. The rituals will take place under the guidance of Shri Shri Shri Mohandas Parama hamsa swamiji and the leadership of Derebail’s Shree Vitaladas Tanthri.
He gave the following details while speaking at the press conference at Alake on Monday.
On Thursday, 01/05/2014– Prayer, Thorana Muhurta and Ugrana Muhurta. On 02/05/2014– Ghanayaga, Shree Nagabrahma Bimba Pratishte, Kalashabisha, Dharmika sabha. On 03/05/2014– Brahmakalashabisheka to lord Nagabrahma , dharmika sabhe. On 04/05/2014– Vaasthu pooja and other poojas. On 05/05/2014– Ashvathopanayana, Horakanike procession from Kadri temple. On 06/05/2014– Prayer, Thorana muhurtha, Punyahaganayaga. On 07/05/2014– Punyahaganayaga, Navagrahayaga, kooshmandihoma. On 08/05/2014– Ashleshabali, Tambila seve, Nagadarshana, Prasadam distribution, Dharmika sabhe. Hallittu seve and Ashtapavithra Nagabhrama Mandalotsava. On 09/05/2014- Geeta Sahitya Sambrama. On 10/05/2014– Thorana Moohoortha and prayer. On 11/05/2014– Brahmakalashabisheka to Kallurti Panjurli and Guliga Demigods and then Nemothsava were to take place he said.
The cultural programs would be as follows:
On Friday, May 2– ‘Tulunaad vaibhava’ by Mulki Yuvavahini. On May 3– ‘Kateeldappe Ullaldee’ a historical drama by Lalitha team. On May 4– Musicals rendering ‘Bhaktibhava Rasamanjaree’. On May 5– Dance variety. On May 6– ‘Abbarada Babbariye’ tulu Yakshagana. On May 7– Tulunaada shristhi Roopaka. On May 9– Geeta sahitya sambrahma. On May 10– ‘Nunk matherla bodu’ Tulu comedy drama by Lakumi group and other programs are going to take place he said.
