Mangalore, April 25: Mangalore based couple Ayesha-Jubair, who have been arrested for their involvement in Hawala racket, have been taken to Chattisgarh from Bihar by the police.
The police have taken the couple to Chattisgarh after securing the body warrant from the court.
It is learnt that Ayesha and Jubair couple were arrested by the Lakhisarai police in Bihar from their residence at Panjimogaru, few months ago. Later two months ago, the couple was charge sheeted by the police.
The couple had tried for bail, though a local advocate Khader from Ullal, with the help of a local advocate from Lakhisarai, t failed to succeed.
