Mangalore, Apr 24: Former MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and BJP DK candidate Nalin Kumar Kateel said that the decision of state government to hand over the Kabeer encounter case to the CBI for impartial enquiry is not wrong. Hence the political parties and the government must not include religion and politics into it.

The ANF, which is constantly on the lookout for Naxals and it, is the duty of state government respects their morale or else it will be injurious to our security.

All the political parties must avoid adding political colour to the incident and must take suitable decision and time to hand over the case to the CBI, he said.

Kateel also said that the state government which has announced Rs 10 lakh as compensation to the family of Kabeer, must also compensate the family of two youths who died of drowning during Puttur Mahalingeshwara temple procession, since it was also an accident. The state government must justify the accident base on religion, he added.
