Mangalore, April 22: A speeding bus rammed into a car near Mukka NH 66 on Tuesday morning. The accident caused injuries to 4 students and also 20 other people.
The mishap occurred between a VRL bus and a Tata tourist car, the face-to-face collision resulted in complete damage of the car. The car was moving towards Bangalore from Kundapur and the bus was on its way back from Bangalore to Udupi.
Sudakar (47), Mahesh (27), Prathap (22), Sathish (40), Devraj (38) and the driver Shivakumar (25) who is seriously injured, all are admitted to the hospital.
It is said that the car driver is in critical condition. The passengers travelling in the bus were also injured.
A case has been registerd in Surathkal police station.
