Speaking at the press meet held at District Congress office on April 21, Monday, he said that it is the matter of common sense that the shootout at Thanikodu check post by the ANF personnel is murder.

Poojary also said that the government must take steps to reinforce a sense of trust among the people by handing over the case to CBI probe, since people have no trust in CID investigation. The promise of handing over case to CID by state home minister, K J George, shows that he is one of the weakest ministers in the cabinet.

He lashes out the department for failing to take action against the ANF personnel involved in the shootout.
