Mangalore, Apr 21: The district unit of Popular Front of India (PFI) staged a massive rally in front of the DC office on Sunday April 20, against the fake encounter of cattle trader Kabir by ANF personnel.
Addressing the protestors, PFI leader Shafi Bellare said that the encounter case of Kabir by ANF must be handed over to the CBI to ensure transparent probe and the team involved in incident to be booked under murder case and must be suspended immediately.
He also demanded sufficient compensation to his family and assure job for his brother. During the BJP government such unjust incidents were comparatively less, but the present government, which has assured to provide protection of minorities, has cheated them.
They also said that PFI will form a strong group to defeat BD, since it is not the first case the state has witnessed. The PFI condemns fake encounter carried on the direction of Bajrang Dal.
He also criticized Home minister K J George to be the weakest minister in the cabinet, who has always failed to address the problems of the police department. The police department is acting as per the directions of RSS.
