Mangalore, April 16: As the campaigning segment comes to an end on April 15, Tuesday at 6pm, Deputy Commissioner and District Returning Officer AB Ibrahim directed all political parties star campaigners except elected representatives to leave to their respected constituency.
Addressing the media at the press meet held at DC Office on April 15, Tuesday, DC said that any political parties are restricted from holding press meet relating to elections till the election process completes.
He also said that as many as 8,108 election duty staff including 4652 women has been deputed by the district administration.
Administration will also use a total of 257 buses, 20 mini buses, 130 maxi cabs, 123 jeeps and 16 Lorries for the election duty.
