Increase awareness amongst voters; Poojary’s call to congress workers

Mangalore, April 23: Addressing the congress workers meet held at Shanti nilaya auditorium on April 22,Monday,Janardhan  Poojary-former Union minister said in his speech that all the wrong doings of corrupt BJP rule in the state for the past five years to be conveyed to all the voters by visiting their houses and by doing door- to- door campaign.

Campaigning on behalf of congress candidates JR Lobo- candidate from Mangalore south and Moideen Bava-candidate from Mangalore north (suratkal) motivated all the congress workers to work hard for the victory of both the candidates in the ensuing assembly election.

Unlike BJP party, congress never ignores any congress workers after the victory, he added.

Encouraging the party workers, Poojary said that in fact, real credit must goes to party workers only, because party’s victory is ensured only due to the sheer efforts of party workers.

Religion based politics and false propaganda of BJP is dividing the society and therefore BJP should be given befitting reply in the ensuing assembly election, he advised party workers.

BJP has given only three seats to minority community candidates out of thirteen seats in the undivided Dakshina Kannada district and ten seats have been allotted amongst Hindus and Jains and Muslims and Christians were not allotted tickets at all, where as congress is treating all the communities equally, he alleged.

He also appealed to all the party workers to attend in large number when national congress president Sonia Gandhi arrives to the city to address the mammoth rally of congress party workers organized by district party leaders and workers.

JR Lobo-congress candidates from Mangalore south,Mohiuddin Bava from Mangalore north, A Moideen-former minister,Nagendra Kumar-block congress president, K Ashraf, leaders Vijaya Kumar shetty,Ivan D’Souza,Ibrahim Kodijal,Pravin Alva,B.Ibrahim,Kallige Taranath  Shetty,U K yamon among others were present in the meet.
