Mangalore, April 23: Speaking to media persons during his door-to- door election campaign in Haripadavu, Yeyyadi and Konchady Landlinks township colony, on April 22, Monday, former MLA, Krishna J Palemar-an official candidate from Mangalore north (suratkal) in the ensuing assembly election said in his speech that although this time my opponent is from minority community, both minority and majority community people are with me and hence victory from this constituency is like a cake walk for me.
Further, he said pro-people developmental works for the people of these areas are testimonials of my works and that only my protective shield (Shreerakshe), he added.
While speaking to the media persons on behalf of Krishna J Palemar former mayor Shankar Bhat said that though congress party is claiming that weather of congress is looming in this area, in reality in each and every house chanting of BJP’s victory is being heard and hence this time Palemar’s victory is assured with huge margin, he reiterated.
