Mangalore, April 12: On the ground of recent troublesome incident in Kalladka, we are planning to position paramilitary forces here till the Lok Sabha elections are over, , said Deputy Commissioner AB Ibrahim.
Speaking to reporters on April 11, Friday, the Deputy Commissioner said he has visited the affected area and taken note on the situation. The condition seems to be peaceful, the Additional DC, Tahsildar and other officials are camping at the spot to oversee the situation, he added.
The Deputy Commissioner requested the public to maintain peace as such incidents will also affect election campaigning. It is our duty to ensure polling is done in a peaceful manner.
