Mangalore, April 8: Dakshina Kannada Milk Union have decided to use the Nandini pasteurized cow milk packets to create awareness among the need for exercising franchise.
The packets will bear a printed slogan ‘Matadana Maduvudu Namma Hakku – April 17 randu mathadana madi’ (To vote is our right, vote without fail on April 17), urging the voters to cast their franchise during the Lok Sabha elections in the State on April 17, which is a part of the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme.
The message will be printed on 4,32,000 packets daily from April 2.
