Allegation against BJP candidate’s silence in Assembly was based on media reports: Rai

Mangalore, April 3: DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai said that BJP is indulge in various types of campaigning against the Congress, which will help Congress to win in highest number of seats.

Speaking at the press meet held at Congress Election office on April 3, Thursday, Rai said that BJP was busy spreading rumours blaming the Congress for recent clash evoked during an interaction programme organized by during an interaction programme. Apart from it, Congress had also targeted by the BJP even in social networking sites.

Criticizing BJP National Secretary Ananth Kumar, who had asked him to take political sanyas, Rai said that Ananth Kumar has no moral values to make such a statement. Countering statement on sleeping in assembly, Rai said he might have slept, but not watched blue films like BJP ministers.

But Rai was hesitant to reply to the challenged he imposed on Nalin Kumar’s participation in assembly and said that he made an allegation based on media reports and could not find any reports of his participation.
