Mangalore, Mar 28: A Second PUC student was washed away by a giant tidal wave at the Mallamar Beach near NITK Suratkal on March 27, Thursday evening.
The The deceased has been identified as Rajesh (17) hailing from Hubli and studying in a Little Flower College, Padmanoor, Kinnigoli and rented a hosue near the college. His mother worked in Bangalore.
It is learnt that Rajesh had come to the beach to enjoy the completion of the II PUC annual exams along with his friends Rahul, Akshay and Pawan Shetty.
The search for body of Rajesh is underway.
