Mangalore: State level snooker championship is being organised by Rotary club central in the memory of Late Mohan Das Bhandari. The game is being held at Eden club, Nanthoor.
The event was inaugurated by Sadananda Shetty, Convener of Shri Devi Educational Institution. He later addressed the gathering and said that Rotary club is very active in the city and is organising events in different fields. These games help in increasing sportive spirit amongst people and they should utilise such platforms, he added.
It is learnt that 16 teams have already registered. Dr. Nitish Bhandari, Dr. Devdas Rai, Rajagopal Rai and many others were present. The game will end on Friday.
