Kundapur: A youngster named Santhosh Hegde has invented different models and has amazed localities. Smoke detector, door sensor, ELCB, MCB detector, baby crying detector etc are some of the inventions made by this young scientist.
Santhosh faced financial problem while he was studying in 10th and had to give up his studies. Currently he is working as an operator at Janatha Fish Mill.
New inventions:
Door sensor- The device gives a call to the owner whenever there is breaking of door or any attempt of theft, the information is also given to neighbours by a call and the siren rings loudly. It can be also used in ATM locker rooms.
Smoke detector- The device sends information to fire brigade and the owner as soon as the fire breaks out or any smoke is detected. The siren keeps ringing until it is attended. Device also gives complete information regarding the time and distance that the fire brigade may take to reach the spot.
ELCB detector- The sensor in this device will switch off the power in case any person becomes a victim of shock due to electricity. A call is given to the main electrician present around and a loud siren starts ringing.
Baby crying detector- If a baby starts crying whenever the parent or guardian is not around, the siren starts ringing and a call is given to the specified number. A robotic swing starts swinging for 5minutes.
The young scientist has invented many more devices. He is in need of financial support and a good post/job that will provide him a platform to showcase his talent.
