Achievement of Congress in past one year is zero: Palemar

Mangalore : Former minister Krishna J Palemar said that Congress has failed to keep up its promises made during election like removal of self-assessment tax and provision of single site approval in Dakshina Kannada, within ten months after coming into power.

Speaking at the press meet held at BJP election office on March 25, Tuesday, he said that Congress after coming into power in MCC election has not initiated any developmental work of the city.

Palemar also alleged that Congress has even increased underground drainage fee by 200 percent and moreover state government had not sanctioned any fund for the developmental works in the city.

Palemar said that during his tenure, he used to listen to people’s problem, but now all the four ministers of undivided district are not reachable to the people.

BJP leaders Yogish Bhat, Umanath Kotian, Ranganath Kini, Premanand Shetty and Satish Prabhu were present.
