Mangalore, March 24: State Minister for Forest and Ecology and District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai said that B Janardhana Poojary, will file his nomination as the Congress candidate for Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha constituency on March 26, Wednesday.
Speaking at the press meet held at District Congress Office, Rai said that the good works done by Poojary over the years will come out victorious in the coming election.
He also said that party would win over 20 seats in the Lok Sabha elections.
He also said that Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Oscar Fernandes will inaugurate Election Campaign office of the Congress at Exotica Building at Balmatta on March 24, Monday at 9.30 am.
Congress leaders Kodijal Ibrahim, leaders Ivan D’Souza, Kallige Taranath Shetty and others were present.
