AAM AADMI volunteers take to buses for campaign

Mangalore, Mar 21:  Aam Aadmi Party in Dakshina Kannada district has resorted to move in public transport to reach of to the electorate as part of their poll campaign.

The former Airport Director and Lok sabha candidate M.R. Vasudev took to a service bus from Suratkal on Thursday to reach out to people as he travelled till Haleangady as part of the routine campaign trail which has now intensified.

With obstacles and delays in getting approvals for the use of campaigning vehicles, AAP volunteers have resorted to traveling by buses and distributing campaigning material on buses and bus stops.

“Buses and local trains are the primary means by which AAM AADMI travel and this is the best way to reach them” said J.P. Rao, AAP’s Campaign Manager.

It is learnt that Aam Aadmi Party has requested the district administration to evolve an effective mechanism to process applications with regard to applications for vehicles and sound system so as to facilitate parties to conduct their campaign activities smoothly in all legalities.
