Mangalore, Mar 17: Some unidentified miscreants hurled stones at Al Madrasatul Badriya Mosque at Montepadavu coming under the limits of Konaje police station on March 16, Saturday night.
The incident came to light when Abubakkar, who resides near the mosque, came out of his house after hearing sounds of breaking window panes.
According to the complaint filed with Konaje police, by mosque committee secretary Khader, stated that some unidentified men were spotted riding bike around the area and suspected to be the culprits.
City Police commissioner R Hitendra, ACP Pawan Nejoor and Konaje SI Gopalkrishna Bhat visited the spot and conducted the investigation.
State Health Minister and local MLA U T Khadar also visited the mosque and urged the police to take strict action against the culprits.a
