Kundapur: Celebrate the festival without hurting someone’s feelings; DYSP, C.B.Patil

Kundapur; March 13: Addressing the all religion peace meeting held on March 12, Wednesday in Gangolli Kharvikere Konchady Radha Shenoy government higher primary school auditorium as part of pre-Holi festival, C.B.Patil, DYSP, Kundapur sub-Division said in his address that celebrate the upcoming Holi festival as per the custom, tradition happily and peacefully.

Since the election code of conduct is in force, all are by co-operating with police department, have to carry out their responsibilities efficiently and meticulously. During the celebration of festival, without affecting, hurting someone’s feelings, festival should be celebrated in such a way that everybody should feel happy and enjoy the celebration. Police department will extend complete co-operation for such kind of celebrations, he said.

While speaking Divakar, Kundapur police circle inspector said that though Gangolli is very sensitive area, in the surrounding region peace is existing. With the co-operation of all the prominent leaders, Gangolli has become good and police department will extend co-operation always for good deeds. Therefore he suggested and advised to celebrate the festival without affecting the law and order in the region.

Nagaraja Kharvi, Kharvi community leader, Venkatesha Kotian, Ravindra Patel, Krishna Patel, Nagappayya Patel and others spoke about the festival on the occasion.

Former Mandala chief B.Sadananda Shenoy,taluk panchayat former member Surendra Kharvi,Village Panchayat member Younis Saheb,Ramadasa Patel,Gangolli police station’s assistant sub-inspector Babu and among others were present on the occasion.
