Udupi; Mar 12: Addressing the ‘Natural disaster management workshop’ organized on Mar 12, Wednesday, at Manipal Rajathadri district Panchayat auditorium, Dr.R.Dharmaraju, workshop co-ordinator said in his address that already in 12 districts including Udupi workshop on natural disaster management has been conducted. It was decided to conduct workshop in 30 districts and first it was started in Raichur.Through mobile device information is obtained in server from respective places and through SMS at the right time using their resources, efforts will be made to prevent natural disaster, he said.
Kanagavalli, CEO of District Panchayat has inaugurated the workshop.Pranesh Rao, Joint secretary of District Panchayat and among others were present.
